Iowa Busted Mugshots is privately operated and is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. It helps readers locate Iowa arrest-record and booking-photo resources. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offer services covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA); this site is not a consumer reporting agency or private investigation firm.
What This Website Provides
This is a private reference website with no government affiliation. It does not maintain official arrest, booking, court, or custody files and cannot confirm a person's status, cause a release, or submit a document for you.
The Iowa pages explain how county arrest records and booking-photo resources are organized, describe relevant state sources, and identify selected outside research tools. Iowa Code chapter 22 governs access to qualifying government records; it does not make this site a records custodian.
